Photos from Rob Zombie’s performance at New York’s Hammerstein Ballroom.
This is the second time I’ve had the pleasure to photograph a Rob Zombie concert in 2012. This time, Rob Zombie and crew opened up for Marilyn Manson on the Twins of Evil Tour at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City. With all the hubbub about Zombie and Manson’s recent on-stage spat that happened in Detroit, I am happy to report that both Zombie and Manson performed drama-free sets.
In case you missed it, Manson reportedly told a sold-out Detroit crowd, “I’m sorry if you came to see Rob Zombie, and he can’t come on, because I’m going to beat his ass … twice … three fucking times.” Zombie didn’t get assaulted but did decide to dedicate his cover of Alice Cooper’s “School’s Out” to “the only real shock rocker there ever was, Alice Cooper, not some punk-ass bitch.”
